Hi everyone,

I'd like to present you one interesting game project that my friend is working on at the moment. He doesn't know English well and I thought I'd help him with feedback a bit.

POiSE is an arcade game which tells the story of a funny alien named Spike. Spike's spaceship crashed in an asteroid belt. To get to the rescue ship, which is located outside the asteroid belt, he needs to go through some challenges. Each level is an asteroid. Spike needs to balance on each asteroid and wait for the right moment to jump to the next one.

On each level he needs to dodge falling meteorites. Currently, there are three types of meteorites:

Rocky meteorite – does not harm the character but makes it more difficult to move around.

Ice meteorite – falls infrequently. When it hits the character, it causes him to lose traction with the surface of the asteroid and makes him slide for a short time.

Overheated Meteorite – falls frequently. When it hits the character, it lowers his hit points.

How is the game being developed?

The game is being developed using the Scirra Construct 2 engine. The engine’s multiplatform capabilities make it possible to develop games for all platforms which support the rapidly evolving HTML5 technology. Currently the game can be ported to the following platforms: iOS; Android; BlackBerry 10; Windows Phone 8; Windows XP, 7, 8; Linux; Mac OS; Web Browser (Kongregate, Armor Games, Newgrounds and other web-based venues).

Tell what you think. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks
