why does Flip() is SLOWER than using blt() from the back buffer to the front buffer? i mean, when you blt from the back buffer to the front you copy smting like (800*600*32bit) dont have the nerve to calculate it but i''m sure its over a meg, and as i understood flip should only change the pointer between the two surfaces... shouldnt changing two pointers be faster that blitting a meg? AFAIK flip will sync refresh rate, no faster. where as blt dosn''t, hence you usually get tearing using blt.
