I have a text file stored at a certain url address like:

http://site.com/file

I need to open it using that url and store every line in a separate string(using vector<string>)

I tried finding my way with wininet but I just got stuck.I don't really know where to start.I found the following functions:

InternetReadFile

InternetOpenUrl

But I can't figure out what arguments to use.... Anyone can give a hand with this?

  1. Do you know how to use TCP? You could send HTTP request manually and receive file.
  2. Use URLDownloadToFile function, then open file normally.

definitely DL the data, then parse. fetching strings one at a time is probably not very efficient. and don't forget resume capabilities on that DL!
