Hey! I got another question. Does anybody know a function / sourcode to merge X Wavefront (.obj) files into 1 file?

If anyboddy is willing to write me such an function i'am willing to pay ( but we have to talk about the price before)

It could be as simple as opening both files in a text editor and copying one into the other. But that doesn't sound like what you want.

The OBJ format does allow for multiple meshes within one file, but that is rarely used in most importers. How is your importer written and what features can it support?

What exactly are you trying to do? If you are trying for a custom file format, I'd personally recommend that you skip OBJ and go another route.

I got overleping geometry files, that i want to merg into one big file...

it's still not clear whether your requirement is for a single mesh, or if a single file containing multiple meshes is sufficient?

The file itself don't contain any mesh. Its just got the row geometry from the world / zone. You load the Geometry witch is stored in wavefront formate into Recast and then you generate out of the geometry the mesh.

I suggest to just load them in Blender / other DCC tool and resolve overlappings manually.

Given criticality of data involved, I would never ever trust an automated method - blender can solve the intersections for you anyway.
