Attaching two models

Hi guys

 

Ive been experimenting with putting together a sword slash effect(ribbon trail) for a weapon model

and read that in order to finish the effect I would have to attach vertex 0 and vertex 1 of the triangle

strip(picture below) to the top and to the hilt of my sword model and I wanted to ask what would be the best way to do this,

any advice would be much appreciated.

hi there.

Maybe you could place bones at the points and use the transforms to locate your starting points and not use vertices.
