UV Mapping and Custom Verticies

Hi hopefully a quick question,

 

I Have Hexagon i have rendered by creating verticies and inserting them into a vertex buffer, and indicies; it works fine.

 

However, how would i go around UV Mapping this? I can UV Map via blender, but im at a loss at what to search for when it comes to this.

 

Anyone got any Links / advice?
