You are going to have to be more specific. What language are you using? What platform?

I don't fully understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to have the user enter their name?

He is asking how to prompt the user for input.

Normally games roll their own input boxes (except those made on iOS and Android), which is a lot of work.
Otherwise on Windows you can use a MessageBox.

All other platforms and languages have something similar to this.  If you are not on Windows and C/C++, find out what works on your platform/language.
