Greetings Gamedev.net Community!

I'd like to present to you our first game, Spacebat! Let me garner your interest with a video first, before words.

The Guys

So a little about Hot Box Games - We're a 3-man indie team with almost no experience developing games before Spacebat.

We were friends prior to the development of Spacebat, the decision to create Spacebat was initially a 'test' just to see if we could work on a game and go all the way to release it, and turns out we could! We released Spacebat a few days ago on the 1st and are currently in the process of trying to get ourselves and the game noticed.

The Team:

Sean Billington

Sam Curley

Josh Thomason, me!

The Game

We like to call Spacebat a "tap'n'flap" arcade game - a damn hard one too!

The guys at Hot Box Games really enjoy challenging games, so we put our focus towards creating a game that takes such patience and precision. The game is controlled by repeatedly tapping the screen to control Spacebat, dodging various objects and space-snakes.

4 different levels, each one harder than the one before it.

'Survival' game mode, where players can test their dodging and diving skills against progressively increasing amounts of enemy snakes.

Stats are recorded about each death, highscore, game-time, and more!
