Any suggestions for my interface ideas?

My Platform and Design class has asked us to post our interface ideas to a forum in search of comments, suggestions (good or bad), and ideas to help enhance what we already have. Any help is greatly appreciated.    

For my game concept I’ve incorporated three interface ideas I feel would help my game benefit. The first being customizable hot keys that would allow the player to pick and choose which hot keys they would like to use depending on which boss fight, allowing for quicker response time during fights.

Second, via the character rummaging through their bag, an inventory list which holds the various items picked up by the character along their journey enables the player to pick and choose which weapon to use, trade and sell items at shops, or hold on to specific quest items when necessary.

Third, the map enables the player to visually see multiple points of interest that can be visited within the game environment. The map is brought up via the player’s character rummaging through their bag for a scroll-like map which when brought up to the character’s face becomes a full size map. This map can also have customizable way-points with labels for interesting places that were visited.
