Greetings to the GameDev community!

Our new firm, based in NJ, is welcoming serious mobile app developers to submit their company brief on our website for investment consideration! Our niche seed capital investment ranges can be $30K-$300K, or more.

In general, we consider apps that can prove demand for their product- either through sheer sales, market research, surveys, etc. We invest in serious people, not merely ideas. Good luck to everyone in their projects!

PS: Please feel free to reply publicly on this post if you wish. From time to time, we may reply. But can't guarantee it depending on how busy we get.

How exactly are you sponsored by google ?

And why are you features on wallstreet journal etc. not linked to the actual feature?

Oh just one tip if you want to attract serious people, it would be helpful to have a website that does not look like a 19thn century scamming page.

We sponsor ads in Google- Adwords.

We're still discussing with WSJ on how we can retrieve/present our featured story and ads.

Our website looks humble, but it does the job. We don't have a huge budget yet on website marketing. We're not interested in taking advantage of anyone.

We hope to earn your trust by evaluating submissions one at a time based on their own merits. The standards are high. But that's natural to expect. However, we try and at least reply to every submission.

We're a startup just like many developers who may be in your community. I'm sure you know what it's like to strive to earn a voice for your company- as well as manage those who doubt you.

Your website appears to be saying that Google sponsors or in some way directly supports your company. This is quite different from buying adwords from Google, which anyone can do. A better term might be "Find us on", and perhaps some kind of Google+ account for your business.

Right now, this phrasing actually creates a credibility problem, one that is easily avoided!

You should be aware that a "humble" site like that does seem rather at odds with the kind of money you are talking about. A more professional site would help to build confidence in visitors, and should not break the bank. Your current site, in my opinion, gives a poor first impression of your organisation.

I imagine that you are certainly going to struggle getting serious applicants for these reasons.

We're not interested in upsetting any of your community members. All we want to do is source, and fund qualified mobile app developers and their promising projects.

I appreciate the feedback on our site appearance. We're doing incremental improvements to it when our time and resources allow.
