Pixel shader interpolation

Before we arrive at the pixel shader stage that is in rasterizer stage the data is interpolated. Is that interpolation something like lerp or maybe slerp ?

See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb509668%28v=vs.85%29.aspx for a discussion of the interpolation types available in Shader Model 4, which gives a good overview.  The default interpolation is linear, but other interpolation types (including no interpolation, in which case the value from a single vertex forming the triangle - known as the provoking vertex - is used).
