I had an interview with Rockstar games and they wanted to know what areas of game programming I was interested in. I said gameplay programming or GUI programming. I was wondering what is the easiest category to get into? I didn't say graphics programming because it requires advance math knowledge. I have built front end applications for xbox 360 and windows 8 so I figured Gameplay would be easiest to get into. What kind of work should one expect as a game GUI programmer? Also what is the easiest category to get into?
