No, it won't give you useful timing information. In terms of CPU time, a lot of the overhead will come from the driver which often works on a separate thread, which makes it difficult to track without vendor-specific tools. GPU time is even trickier, since GPU's are heavily pipelined and can execute many draw calls simultaneously. For that you also need vendor-specific profiling tools (Nvidia Nsight, or AMD GPU PerfStudio)
