error when compiling HL model

Hey experts! I am trying to compile my first model for a Half-Life MOD. But when i compile i get the folloving error message: illigal parent bone replacement in sequence "swim" "player_mesh" has "Bip01 Pelvis", reference has "ROOT" I get the same error message for: "swim", "jump" and 14 other animations (17 in all) I have used the Biped from Gordon and the standard animations in half-life. What am i doing wrong ?? honning.
