A combobox in the menu?

i don''t think so. i used a dialogbar (CDialogBar) to put some controls to the window, but i think its a bit complicated to implement because this class is not supported by the ClassWizard.

It would be difficult to put a ComboBox in a standard menubar I think. You could however make a toolbar act as a menubar. Look for example at the menubar in Internet Explorer, or MSVC++ (if you''ve got it). The menubars in those programs can be grabbed and moved just like any toolbar, and in MSVC++ you can insert any combobox/button/menu/etc. into any toolbar/menubar. The only downside that I can think of with this approach is that the menubar probably won''t be compatible with screen-readers (and maybe it''s a little bit more complex to program).
