When i load a .pro file up in proEdit it looks great and is properly lit. However, when I create a .chr file in Chracter edit the same model is barely visible. I am probably missing something obvious, like some magic light switch in chrEdit but for the life of me I dont know where the light switch is. Anyone know what is going on? thanks MF

Is it a skinned mesh? Lighting isn''t implemented for skinned meshes yet. I have added this already and it will be available in the next patch along with the shadow engine.

I was using precalculated RGB lighting for my characters in the past to get around this.

That would be the problem.
