Alternate windowing framework to glut?

Hi Guys,

 

I'm looking for a cross platform for window manager (Windows, Osx, Linux) that has the following features

  • Creates window and handles input events
  • Create OpenGL context
  • Allows for a native popup menu on right click
  • Allows for customizing the application (file) menu

 

I've looked at GLFW, GLUT, SDL2, SFML and none of them seem to hit the mark

So far all i've found that matches my criteria are wxWidgets and Qt.

 

Both wxWidgets & Qt are nice, but i would really prefer something more "lightweight"

 

Any ideas?

I would just take the raw draw calls and mouse input from any framework and make custom components from scratch. I do this every time there is a limitation in the standard GUI framework. You only need to define an abstract component class and a component manager in a few hundred lines of code to get started and then you won't hit a limitation again.
