While I'm unsure of the browser resolution on your iPad. This is a problem that manifests with smaller resolutions. The site will automatically remove certain buttons/features if the resolution is too small.
You can observe this behavior on the desktop by zooming in with the browser, at a certain point you'll see the search feature disappears.

Ok, clear. But since i cant change the resolution of my ipad, i dont know how to solve this
your only option is to do a google search, with only gamedev, i.e: "site:gamedev.net what your looking for here"
