Hi fellow game developers,

I'm currently working on a tool that allows anyone to create 2D Role Playing Games (in Flash). It's still very early in development, so a lot of stuff is still missing. But I would love to get some feedback on the functionality that's already there.

The general concept or idea is that playing and creating your RPG is as close to each other as possible. So while you are playtesting your game, you can quickly open the editor, do a few modifications, then close the editor and continue playing.

Try out the editor (requires email registration first):

Or play and edit sample games created by users (doesn't require login):

I would love to hear what you think of this, and don't worry, I have a thick skin ;)

Indeed a very nice tool.

It only lack of a SHIFT+Select implementation to assign multiple tiles and not have to draw an entire object one tile at a time.

Other than that I think it is a very usefull level desgin tool.

Keep up with the good work and hope to see a game of yours soon!

You don't need the SHIFT key for that, just drag the mouse to select multiple tiles. You're not the first one to complain about this, so one of the features I'm going to implement is to by default, select the whole object when you click on it, not just 1 tile.

Thanks for your feedback :).
