Hi everyone,
We (a new Indie company called 'Psyanotek') have just released our first gameplay trailer of Divinium: Challenge of Magic, which is currently in pre-alpha development.
Our goal is to create a fast-paced fantasy hybrid RTS/RPG game inspired heavily by games such as Magic Carpet, Dungeon Keeper, Sacrifice and Minecraft.
The programming and single-player design is progressing well. Development is currently ongoing on the multiplayer aspects of the game.
We are also planning a crowdfunding venture within the next few months, with the focus mainly on improving graphical quality and adding a more professional finish.
The game is currently for the PC (Windows) platform. Ports to other platforms will depend on crowdfunding support.
The video and useful links are here. All feedback is gratefully received.

A quick clarification based on some of the feedback we have received:

The block-based terrain means the game has a very similar graphical style to Minecraft.

However, the gameplay is very different to Minecraft. This game is designed as a fast-paced RTS and not a crafting game.

With constantly changing, fully destructible terrain and hundreds of units in play at once, the simplicity of the block-based terrain also helps to keep the AIs workload under control.
