DirectShow render to Texture

Hi Guys,
 

I am trying to follow the DShow render video to texture example in one of the older SDK's, but it doesn't seem all that clear as to what the whole process is.

 

I can get as far as rendering video to a window, but then rendering to texture seems like a whole different kettle of fish.

 

I'd greatly appreciate some guidance on how to do this. Whether it be a link or just even each step needed (in point form of course - I don't expect code to be handed on a platter - LOL).
