Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew of a freeware program that converts between different 3D file formats. Much like 3d exploration, but freeware. Anyone? I''ve looked and found very little. Never mind, found EXACTLY what I wanted. Crossroads! Coverts between almost any format too.

Crossraods suxxs!
the conversation is really bad!
look at 3D explorer!
Milkshape supports a ton of formats. It''s not free, but it''s only $20. Another cool thing -- if it doesn''t support the format you''re trying to use, there is a SDK available for it that you could use to write your own importer or exporter.

3D Explorer is not free either if memory serves me right. I want FREEWARE. That would be what makes it hard.

Have a look at 3D Win http://www.stmuc.com/thbaier/ it really does rock. Plus if you get the paid for version you can convert textures too, although the free version isn''t too bad. Remember to download the unlock key aswell as the program!
