I was wondering how one would make a program and when you move your mose over an object it highlights it. I was thinking that you could have a buffer where when you render somethig it puts a number in the buffer to represent it. For example when you render shape 1 it puts a 1 in the buffer where the shape is on the screen and when you render shape 2 it put 2 where shape 2 is. So when the mouse moves over and are it checks in the buffer, and if the point the mouse it at is 1 in the buffer it will highlight object 1. - Gecko - gecko@flatirons.org ------------------------- "A cow, now that cuold be useful" - Conker(Conkers BFD for N64) --------------------------
