A few questions about DXF files... 1) What 3D programs outputs native DXF files? 2) Is there a DXF-2-X converter available? 3) If not, would I need to convert them to 3DS then use the 3DSConv utility in the DXSDK? 4) Are there any 3D programs that export X files? Thanks in advance

I found out for myself, DXF is a native AutoCad 3D file.

A converter that can convert many 3D formats can be found at

I just thought I''d mention that I think I saw a 3DStudio Max 4 plugin that allows you to export as .X files.

To export, you also can use the excellent 3D Exploration (http://www.us.righthemisphere.com/products/3dexplore/downloads/index.htm) software, or PolyTrans.
