Isometric Rendering using OpenGL

Hi all, I am using Object Pascal with SDL, but am fairly new to OpenGL. So my question is are there any resources on the internet that show how to do isometric rendering using OpenGL similar to the way it is used in games like Diablo II and Commandos 2. Any tutorials or example source code in C/C++/Java would be fine. Also since I am using "diamond" shaped tiles what is the best way to set the transparency colour ( Alpha colour ) for each tile being rendered, when using OpenGL.
