SDL Renderer memory leak?

I've been trying to learn C++ and SDL2.

When just creating the window and using a event handling loop everything is fine.


However when I add the rendering part (just RenderClear and RenderPresent) to the loop, I see my program

keeps increasing the memory use in taskmanager.

The program starts at about 4800kB incrementing with 500 and starts slowing down at 9000kB incrementing with about 150 everytime.

(Not every frame but it takes about 10-30 seconds to increase again).


I don't think this is normal, but I'm just creating a window and renderer and then displaying a black screen, I have no clue what could be the problem.
