Asset file format ?

Hi all,

I have mesh file format, image file format, animation file format and other file format.

The problem is when you do a content browser you want a thumbview of asset and know the info when mouse on it.

Is it best to have an Asset file format who store data of other file format + header of info about this asset + thumbnail image data RGBA ?
