I'm 13 years old and I decided to start making games but I have exactly 0 experience with programming so I was just wondering what language would be the easiest for a beginner (not trying to make a super complex game yet) and also if i should use unity, torque or HTML5

We could, but we would never delete a question. It's here so future coders will search and find it.

The staggering amount of learning material (books, YouTube tutorials, Web sites) for engines like Torque, Unity, and UE4 make them ideal to start with. Take a look at each of them, their features, and some of the existing learning materials and just pick one. You can always switch to something else later, so don't consider it a long-term choice.

Experiment, learn everything you can, and ask questions. 13 is not too young to get the ball rolling so enjoy the process!

Indie games are what indie movies were in the early 90s -- half-baked, poorly executed wastes of time that will quickly fall out of fashion. Now go make Minecraft with wizards and watch the dozen or so remakes of Reservior Dogs.

I'm going to move it to the beginners forum. If there are duplicates after that, one will be locked, which is as close as we get to deleting things that aren't spam or verbal abuse or something like that. Welcome to GameDev. smile.png

I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.
