Question about 'High Speed Quadric Mesh Simplification' by spacerat

Dear all,

 

I noticed that spacerat provided a program 'High Speed Quadric Mesh Simplification'. It is really fast. I am trying to apply it to simplify my mulitple domains models. It runs very fast. However, there are some triangles intersect each other in result surface meshes. Can this program work for multiple domains model? How to input this kind of models for the interface that are common interface of two neighbor sub-domains?
