The middle portal exit is curious because it seems to span across a tile boundary - is everything freely positioned really and the perception of a tile grid merely an illusion or are the portals simply not bound by a grid structure?
The level itself is tile based. However the objects themselves are not. That's why it took a while to get those collisions and slopes worked out.
Currently coding on the isometric grid we need for the game.
Since our core game play elements are not defined yet, I'm generalizing the code a bit. I'll try and get a screenshot once I'm satisfied with the results.
