So far I have written my android game in jbox2d port. This may have been a mistake. If I switched to NDK box2d does anyone know if the performance would be significantly better?

I would like to answer my own question here in case anyone else was wondering. I spent 3 days rewriting my engine with box2d on android via NDK. The difference is like night and day. Box2d is about 3 to 4 times faster than JBox2d. Also the simulation is far more precise.
