I'm starting to develop a 2D video-game and I choose LibGDX as game engine. It will be an android game, but later I think that I will use other platform too. I started to read some tutorials and till now I found some useful tools to support the game developing process, tools/library that can be used easily with libgdx:

  • Tiled
  • Overlap2D
  • Scene2D

Could somebody give me a complete list with the relative features?

Hmmm that's a tricky one actually. See, Scene2D isn't actaully a tool, it's a library built over top of LibGDX. If you look at it that way, there are other libraries you can consider like Ashley ( a component system ), Box2D and Bullet ( Physics libraries, etc ). I cover Tiled, Scene2D and Overlap2D in tutorials ( LibGDX, Scene2D and Tiled in this series: http://www.gamefromscratch.com/page/LibGDX-Tutorial-series.aspx ) and Overlap in this one ( http://www.gamefromscratch.com/post/2014/09/08/Guest-Tutorial-Making-Flappy-Bird-using-Overlap2D-and-LibGDX.aspx ).

On the other hand, Tiled isn't specific to LibGDX so you could also include tools like Spine, Spriter, TexturePacker, etc.

Also check out the projects that exist under the LibGDX umbrella. https://github.com/libgdx
