At least under Debian Jessie with GNOME 3 and proprietary Nvidia drivers, SDL2 behaves oddly in fullscreen mode with a lower resolution than that of the desktop: by moving the mouse to the limits of the screen, everything moves to the opposite direction and one can see the desktop and other windows. Also, closing the program does not restore the original desktop resolution.

The fullscreen mode also did not work properly under Debian Wheezy.

May this be a bug in the library?

This seems to require very specialized knowledge of SDL. I would post in the SDL forums. This one seems like the right place to ask about this type of problem.

The problem is simple. You are using the wrong OS. Linux is just awful in my eyes. I don't like it. I recommend using Windows instead.

I am 100% happy with Windows for two reasons:

1. It is the best OS ever made and will always stay the best.

2. It supports the Delphi Programming Language and IDE.
