Frustum points

hey all, Can anyone please tell me how to find the points of the viewing frustum. I looked on the net, but all I found was code to do it, not how to, if you get what I mean. I''ve all ready figured that you mulitply the projection matrix by the modelview matrix to get the clipping matrix, but how do I get the points from that? I actually only need the XZ coordinates as I''m using it for a quadtree culling method. Any help please?
