Weird Thing with using PrintScreen while running my game

Hi everyone,


I wanted to know if anyone could help me with an issue i'm having.


While my 3D OpenGL game is running , after using PrintScreen, when I go in GIMP to paste my Image, I get an image that is based on the beginning of my game.


Meaning it only captures the exact moment and Camera Position and object positions at the start of my App. Even if I've been playing for 10 minutes and i'm shot a bunch of enemies and switched to third person front view of my MainCharacter.


I don't understand why it's doing this.


Now I'm not using any coded technique to capture screens (In-Code), I'm simply using the PrintScreen Key on my keyboard and then using Paste in a an image editing software such as gimp.



Does anybody know what could be causing this? I remember that while I was working on a previous 2D game, I could take screenshots as I pleased and that never occurred.
