It''s even bigger now.. 180 megs or so. Looks like they have a new method for drawing bump mapped water, so hopefully I''ll be able to get that working for GF3 owners.

Is there any update that I can download to the SDK so that I don''t have to download the whole 180mb thing again? I already have the 8.0 SDK installed, and I am on a dial-up modem...

Microsoft provides componentized dowloads.

so i think you just need to get the runtime and C++ SDK.

GF3 is Geforce3, a video card by Nvidia. You''ll have to look around and see if any local stores carry them.

Doesn''t appear to be. The next patch will have libraries compiled with 8.1 headers anyways.

Does it mean that we''ll have to download the 8.1 SDK in order to be fully compliant with PR ?

Yes. You''ll need DX8.1 starting with the next PR patch. The patch won''t be out for some time though.
