?Child Windows in DirectX?

How are child windows managed in Full screen DirectX applications? Do most people: A) Use a pseudo window class of their own and handle all the messaging, positioning, and mouse interaction themselves. OR B) Use Win32’s GDI CreateWindow() functions to open real child windows, and let Win32 do the messaging, positioning, and mouse interaction for you. Thanks, zTn
