Hi, Someone just remined me of a ~problem~ that I have with Borland C++ 5.x. When I create a Win32 GUI executable and transport it to a pc with no borland compiler installed, I get the following message: "cannot find cw3220.dll" or something to that effect. How can I fix this for non-borland pcs. And can I create an exectuable without the accompanying .dll ? djsomers

Oh, just to say tah I actually have the .dll in question, I don''t need _it_, I''d just like to create an exe without needing it, so to speak.

There are two checkboxes you need to find. The first is in "Compile using packages". Make sure this is *unchecked* (unless you provide packages). Next, find "Use dynamic RTL". This should be *unchecked* as well. Once you''ve done that, you should be able to have stand-alone exes.

Hope this helps,
Alistair Keys
