Dreamcast Programming

Hey guys, I''ve just bought a dreamcast and was wondering what (if any) options there are available to me for programming games for one. That is without buying a Dev Kit. I remember seeing things on websites before, but that was along time ago and I cant remember where. So is there anyway I can program games for the dreamcast? If so where can I get a compiler that compiles into the dreamcast format? How will I get my games on to my dreamcast? And finally, is there anywhere with any Dreamcast programming tutorials? I hope someone here can help me, as I am very interested in starting a couple of projects which (shall we say) are not suitable for use on PCs and would be much better suited to a console (like the dreamcast). Yes it can be done. Yes there''s an article about getting started on gamedev. And Yes there are search engines(man dont you hate it when ppl go and tell you to search, oh well I''m a hypocrit, sorry). Well I belive one of the main dreamcast sites goes under the name boob, and I dont want to think what will appear if I guess that url wrongly.

Sorry I couldnt be much more informative, the reason is I dont know anything about it =]
But good luck.
You''ll need either a broadband adaptor or a ''DC coder''s cable.'' You can buy either at www.lik-sang.com

I use a broadband adaptor myself, as it can handle handle faster downloads from my dev. station to the dreamcast.

The ''boob'' link in question is http://www.boob.co.uk

Also, check out http://dcdev.allusion.net/
Thanks for the help guys, anymore infomation people know would be appreciated. This is my first attempt at console programming so it is a big step forward to me, and I would like as much infomation as I can possibly get.

Thanks again,
Crash,
