Modelloading

Yeah it''s that subject again, but anyway, I''m thinking of making models in 3dst and then export them to *.ase or something and then parse them into my glprogram (somehow)... I want to have animation in my characters too. Is this the right way to go or do someone got a better idea?? Maybe I should use Milkshape3d instead? Someone who have fixed a animated model in their programs and can give me a hint? thanks for any help

i use ase, but they''re not animated. i would suggest to use another format other than ase if you''re going to have keyframes, cuz i have a feeling they can get pretty lengthy. 3ds would probably be best.
