OpenGL, GLut whats the difference?
GLUT is OGL, well sort of. Its just a bunch of methods to make OGL easier (or is it a bunch of classes, can never remember considering I never use it). GLUT is fairly limiting in terms of how much control you have, but its a good tool to learn with.(I consider it limiting because, well, I like to control everything that I can. And it does most of it for you.)
GLUT is a window system independent toolkit for writing OpenGL programs. GLUT makes it much easier to learn and explore OpenGL. It's not designed for big projects.
