gmax import into 3dsMax

I wish there was an easy way, but there isn''t. You can probably do it a round about way. Use the tempest (Quake3) gamepak to output an .md3 file. Then import the .md3 using a plugin. I know there is an importer for max 3. Just reverse the process to get files back to gmax.

I haven''t tried this, but it should work.
