how to replace D3DFVF_XYZRHW in D3D11

but i shifting to D3D11.

which can i replace D3DFVF_XYZRHW in d3d11?

First switch from using FVF's to using Vertex Declarations and Vertex Shaders within your D3D9 code. Then porting will be simple.

D3DXDeclaratorFromFVF can be very helpful for this.  Give it an FVF code, it will spit out an array of D3DVERTEXELEMENT9, and you can then just convert those over to the D3D11_INPUT_ELEMENT_DESC equivalents.

 

Having access to an old DirectX SDK will of course make using this a lot easier, but if not, it should be possible to do this in code in a D3D11 program since I don't believe that it even requires a D3D9 device to even exist.
