Linking Levels.......

What I do is use a simple function to see if I''m inside a box that covers the exit part of the level, if I walk into this box which is not drawn, its simply a set of coordinates, then it unloads that level and loads up the next one. If you put one of these switch boxes at the entrance of the next level to switch back to the last level its nice and non-linear... sorta.. oh well, go for it man!

Yea, I don''t use the high-level engine, so thats why I didn''t reccomend that. If you are using the high-level engine, use that thing Chris said.

Although if you don''t want a visible object that changes the level (like, maybe the level exit is just a dark tunnel). You wouldn''t want an OBJECT to be the trigger. You could make the object a big cube with a 100% transparent material, but whats the point?

Chris might want to comment on that since he knows his stuff .
