What would be the simplest way to (in the c++ code) list all the variables of an object. I am using angel script as the script to control objects/nodes in my 3d world. So I need a way to find all the objects of a call (inherited as well) check to see if they are private, constants, etc. So i can save them back in a serialized form for saving/reloading.

any help

thanks

You'd use the asIObjectType interface to inspect the declaration of object properties, and asIScriptObject to get/set the values of the object properties.

The serializer add-on may be of help getting your save system working.

You may also find the article on Reflection of interest.
