Hey Everyone,

I'm Justin Stanizzi, a former AAA game developer who moved to the Indie space. My business partner Eric Robinson and myself have taken our respective experiences at Harmonix, iNiS, and Firehose Games and went on to make tools to bring about game experiences we've always hoped to develop.

Our first tool, Koreographer, has just released on the Unity Asset Store. It's a massively promising creative tool that allows music to drive events in your game with perfect timing.

We're developing our own game, reBERth, with it, which was just showcased at Boston Festival of Indie Games. Panoramical, and Disco Dodgeball have also made use of Koreographer.

Hopefully our experience building tools, moving from AAA, and building are own game can provide some good learning content for this site.

Please check out our site, http://koreographer.com for more information. We'll be posting more about our experiences soon.

We just got this video up showing the Unity 5 Survival Shooter with Koreographer. The process took a better part of an hour, but the results are great.

The overall process had us create a few Koreographer event tracks (effectively metadata tracks) that marked where different rhythmic audio events were happening. We linked the different tracks to object scaling (background objects), object spawning (gun fire), and IK movement (linking IK positions to land on the beat).

Koreographer acts as an event system parceled by audio time.
