Hi,

Using deferred decal you enter the limitation about skinned meshes.

The only way to remove this limitation is to generate the decal mesh using the geometry shader method ?

Thanks

There are many options: you can generate the decal geometry in a GS, or on CPU, or you could render out the decal in texture space for your skinned mesh and apply it straight on the model depending on how your UVs are setup, etc.

I already have the geometry shader made for the generated mesh version.

So, the only way to avoid the issue is to generate a mesh.

EDIT: I didn't read correctly :

Is it possible to have more info about this one ?
