Clipping in D3D?

I need to setup a clipping window so that my game runs within a smaller window inside of my D3D window (so there is space for menus, stats, etc. on the outside of the game window). How do I set this up? Say my window was 640x480 and I wanted to clip at 100 pixels in from all the edges. The SDK is completely boggling to me on this issue. -- Dan (flaXen)
