I have asked this question all over and got no real helpful answer, it seems that everyone is using MS VC and not Borland C++, so if you are using BC5 than, how can I create a standalone win32 gui app that doen''t cause an error if you try to run it on a machine without BC5 ???? djsomers

you need to build with packages included (in the compile options menu)(be careful only to include the packages you use though or you''ll end up with a massive .exe) and include the borland runtime dll''s in your program too.
