Hi , I just Finish with "Zen of Direct 3D" and started on "Game Programming Gems 2". In the begining of "Gems 2", Andre talks about companies that share the game source code with users. Does anyone here know who are those companies? I''ll be very happy to take a look at some real game programming code. Thanks.

Well, I know that the source for Wolfenstein 3D and Quake 1 was released to the public, so i''m assuming that is what he''s referring to. This source is very old and is written for DOS. If you are able to transpose general graphics theory by browsing through code, then go for it. It''s possible.
